Thanks for stopping by The Ebook Investigator. I’m a confirmed book addict and read at least 300 – 350 books per year. Other than my family, which consists of a husband, three sons, one daughter-in-law, three dogs and one cat, books are my life. When I sit down to read I allow myself to escape into amazing romances, beautiful countries I will never see in person and people who grasp onto the love of a good mate that is transforming.
There are a few obstacles for me in the realm of romance novels and it is only fair that you are aware because they do tend to bias my reviews a little although I am working on that. I despise man-whores, who are so prevalent in the romance department these days, unless they have reformed. I find cheating and betrayal hard to handle because on some deep level those situations upset me, push my buttons and hurt my heart. I understand I’m in the minority but it’s how I respond to those issues.
Balance: Something I find missing in most books these day. Many are filled with overwhelming angst and heart-wrenching brokenness and happiness seems illusive only to get our HEA on the final few pages, if that.
Please note: I do not review Erotica, Sci-Fi, Horror, Self Help, Autobiographies, Biographies, Memoirs, and Non-Fiction. I will, however, present reviews on the textbooks and curricula we have used the past eight years in our homeschool. Thanks for stopping by. I will look forward to your visits and posts.
Disclaimer: I am not a professional, just a mom who loves to read and write reviews.
